ITEM: D107 A type 4 Eickhorn
with plated or silver washed late war pot
metal fittings, the silver wash still
showing in places. The dagger is Eickhorn
throughout with the tell tale flat banded
ferrule, large throat to the scabbard and
flat headed single retaining screw. The
blade rates excellent with only the
slightest of faint greying, and although
unmarked much of the crossgrain is still
evident. A very good matching example of a
late war produced army dagger by one of the
premium makers of the period.
The grip contrasts nicely against the
airplane grey of the fittings.
