ITEM: D104
Although unmarked, this dagger is fitted with early Eickhorn parts including a type 2 crossguard. The blade exhibits good crossgrain and some very light finger marks that would clean. The wreath on the cross-guard has a crack that has been reinforced with tin plate on the underside and the throat to the scabbard has been replaced or tampered with. The dagger has issues but remains an attractive piece with desirable early Eickhorn fittings and heavily silvered parts. The grip is flawless and toned to a wonderful lemon hue.
A good example that will not break the bank.
