Unknown Unit Medallion, Tinnie and Austrian WW1 Medal with
Swords
Three items offered here, a
German tinnie missing the pin, what I believe is an
Austria-Hungary WW1 medal?, and a Sterling Silver Personalised
unit medallion, possibly masonic.
The German tinnie is marked ( Paulmann & Cronne RZM M9/60 ) to
the rear and KREISTAG NSDAP BERSENBRUCK 0-11 6.39 to the front.
In worn condition and missing its pin.
The bronze medal I have not researched but I am guessing is an
Imperial Austro-Hungrian combat award. In worn condition and
showing a few knocks, the detail is still clear and with the
suspension loop intact. No ribbon.
The red hanging medallion is a strange one, it may well be
masonic although the personalised dedication to the rear "
P.E.JORDAN MAR 5.1943 " may suggest it is military. The
medallion is marked "Muir brand Sterling" and the frontal enamel
finish is of the highest quality. In very good condition with no
damage, personalised and somewhat unique this piece would
warrant further research. |
