War Merit Medal-Non Combatants
A nice early bronze War Merit
Medal that shows fine detail and minimal wear to the raised
areas. Awarded to non-combatants or civilains who furthered the
war effort such as factory workers who consistently exceeded
their work quotas. The ribbon is very clean and may possibly be
a replacement although it was aqquired by me in the condition
shown below. A nice clean representative example and if you are
looking to add one to your collection, look for one with the
detail intact to the raised areas, wreath, swas and medal rim
etc.
