Iron Cross 2nd Class '65' (Klein & Quenzer-Oberstein)
Showing a little wear to the
raised bead work this cross was obviously worn during the
period. It bears the stamp of Klein & Quenzer, one of the more
desirable and prolific makers of EKII's. The black inner core
has some light spotting that for some reason has been
exaggerated in the pictures below, in hand this tarnish is not
visible. The swas has also lost a little paint that is not as
bad as the picture portrays. The frosting remains but starting
to patina and if you know what you are doing this EKII would
clean up very well. A good example. |
