ITEM: BC312 A WW1 S98/05
combat bayonet with a clean unmarked or
polished blade. The hilt fittings have
suffered over the years and display pitting
as does the painted scabbard which is a
re-paint. The only marking I can find is on
the quillion which appears to be " 291 ".
The grip plates have never been off and are
intact showing heavy use. If only this
bayonet could talk!.
