ITEM: B315 This bayonet has
an infantry pommel etch unique to the
Eickhorn maker and hence is contentious on a
bayonet by WKC, although the detailing and
proportions of the etch are good compared to
original known examples, it does not adhere
to the norm and can only be viewed as a post
war addition. The bayonet itself is in good
condition, missing plating from the tip area
of the blade and 40% paint loss to scabbard.
No felt slug, leather buffer still in place.
